What is Asali?

Asali means Honey in Swahili and is considered the greatest gift that nature has bestowed on us.


Are your products preserved?

Yes, all of our products in need of a preservation system have one.


I notice the sample I received has changed color. Is this normal?

Yes, due to the organic nature of our products the color can change depending on the environment and oxidation process.


How long do my samples last?

Your samples are meant to be used within a few weeks of receiving if unopened. The sample containers are not airtight and therefore I cannot ensure the efficacy of the product once opened.


I received samples following my facial. When should I use them? 

Your Asali Sample set provided after your facial is meant for immediate use. I want to ensure that my clients are using high quality, effective products after they see me in the studio for a treatment.


How do I know if a product has gone bad?

If it smells bad, toss it!


Why does honey sting the eyes?

Though honey has incredible benefits for the eyes separate from skin care, honey is acidic, thus can cause serious discomfort.


Is the owner licensed to make and sell skin care?

Yes, the owner of Asali Organics is licensed and certified to make and sell skin care and is in compliance with Maryland State as well as the Maryland Manufacturers Commission.


Can I layer multiple products from different collections?

Yes, at Asali Organics, we love and encourage LAYERING!


Yes, at Asali Organics there is a product for every skin type.
